Spring 2020 Garden Update
“If you sit quietly and listen, you can hear them grow.”
My spring garden is officially up and running and I couldn’t be more excited! I planted the seeds a few months back and they have really taken off since! I feel like an imposter calling myself a “gardener” being that its only my second go to this whole gardening thing but some beautiful weather mixed with water got this garden growing! I’m over here doing my happy dance and thankful the garden is off to a solid start!
Here’s what’s inside:
🍅 4 different varieties of tomatoes
🌿 herbs: basil, Thym, oregano, parsly
🥒3 zucchini plants including an “Easy Golden” that I’m excited about!
🍓strawberries
💙blueberries
🥕carrots
🌶peppers
🌶 Bell peppers
💚snap peas
💐mixed wildflowers
🌻sunflowers
Oh, and Kale!
Even though I am admittedly new to this, I have high hopes that all will grow to produce a harvest! Well. except the peppers. They don’t seem to be thriving.
Now if you’ll excuse me I’ll just be sitting here impatiently waiting for the next two months while I tap my foot, sing to my plants, and wait for them to grow, grow, grow!
I can’t wait for that first harvest! There is something simply magical about watching a plant go from a tiny seed to producing a harvest that can provide your family nutrition. Simply magical.
